A Life of Prayer
A Life of Prayer is simply communication with God. It’s not a one way street, but you communicate with God and He communicates with you. Mother Mildred Boyd would always say “Pray until the answer comes.” This is a mentality that every believer should adopt.
A life of Prayer is a tool that we need in our spiritual tool box. Hebrew 4:15-16 tells us that God is touched by the feeling of our infirmities, but He’s not just touched – He wants us to come talking to Him about it. The word boldly in that passage speaks of “All Speech” meaning you can talk to God about whatever is on your heart or mind and He will intervene on your behalf. God already knows what we need before we ask, but He desires a relationship with us and prayer is one of the tools that we need to develop that relationship. You too can begin a life of prayer today; just start talking to God.
