God Can Restore
In Luke 15 we see that people can be lost for various reasons, but there’s always joy in heaven when one sinner repents. God desires for the lost to be found, whether it’s one out of a hundred or one out of ten. Repentance is the decision to turn back to God. Like the shepherd seeking his sheep or the prodigal son realizing he doesn’t have to stay in his misery, repentance leads to restoration. The father ran to his returning son, celebrating his restoration. Repentance clears the path to where we are meant to be with God, allowing us to be found and restored by His grace. No matter where you are, you can be found through repentance.
