Wisdom: The Introduction
Wisdom: The Introduction
| Wisdom speaks of application and how to apply knowledge. Wisdom gives us the “how to” in order to do something. 1 Kings 3:6 shows us that Solomon asked for Wisdom from God because he understood that he couldn’t be a good King without God’s wisdom. God granted his request and gave Solomon a “wise and understanding heart.” God wants us to desire wisdom, which is linked to understanding. Proverbs 4:7 says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and in all thy getting get understanding.” Seek God for His wisdom and understanding that can take you further than your limited knowledge. |
